A top notch field of over 140 riders braved the wet and windy conditions on the Etwall - Uttoxeter course. While photographing the event from the old Silver Wheel layby I devised a new invention for photographers....a giro helmet with umbrella attached so I can pan across with both hands and not get wet!!!...well its a thought isn't it?
Anyway despite the downpours I managed to get several pics of all but one rider .....
Congrats to Joel Wainman (Team Swift) & Lynn Taylor (Born to Bike) winners of mens & ladies sections. (see opposite).
